Action Recruitment originated in Dublin over 30 years ago, in 1998 Katrina Dunne brought Action Recruitment to the UK under the name of Action Recruitment Europe.

We recruit for all levels of permanent positions from supervisory up to senior management including all levels of chefs. We cover different divisions including Hotels, Restaurants, Pubs and Bars. We also have had great success in recruiting for head office support roles such as HR and Sales.

Based in South Yorkshire, we cover the whole of the UK and we are regularly out on the road interviewing around the country depending on current vacancies.

Our Team

We have a stable team of Account Manager’s who manage their own client lists and are completely focused on the requirements of their clients and candidates. We have built some very strong relationships over the years and we are often seen as an extension of a company’s own HR department. Our Account Managers spend time understanding the in’s and out’s of their clients business including their culture and values, in some instances the Account Manager will have spent time doing an actual shift to really understand it from an employee point of view. Joining us with personal industry experience, our Account Manager’s have empathy with Manager’s and understand what the industry is about and what is required.

The Account Managers are supported by a Candidate Manager, who oversees the candidate process ensuring that we deliver a high level of service to all jobseekers.

Our success through recommendation has been achieved by appreciating that jobseekers are our customers too and by ensuring that we value our candidates and aim to give them the best service possible!.

We spend time getting to know our candidates; their personalities and motivations enabling us to make sure we are matching them to the right job and also the right company! This results in very committed candidates. In many cases, candidates have become clients and many have kept in contact over the years with us sharing their success stories!.
